Choose your challenge that can be held anywhere at anytime! 

Imagine waking up one morning and finding you can't lift your foot. It just limply hangs there as your brain desperately wills it to move, yet there is no change. Unfortunately, this is one of the early symptoms faced by many people living with Motor Neurone Disease (MND), and it will never change, improve or get better. Instead, it only worsens, and they'll eventually lose all ability to move.

So, we're encouraging you to be a mate and support Queenslanders impacted by MND by moving with purpose and care. Create a fundraising page to walk, run, ride, swim, or do another movement you choose at your own pace, wherever you are. Tag your mates to do the same and challenge yourself to stay active while making a difference.

How to get started:
  • Hit the FUNDRAISE button (top of the page) - create your Mates Move 4 MND fundraising page.
  • Move with purpose - get moving every day within the challenge you choose with purpose and take photos or find quotes to share.
  • Share with care -  share your fundraising page, photos of you moving, why you are a mate moving for MND and use the #MM4MND to spread the word. The more people realise how much of an impact MND has, the more people care. When more people care, the more support we can provide, especially for those over 65.
