Matt’s Memory is fundraising for
We are walking in memory of an amazing and beautiful man - Matthew (Matt) James Downey. Loved and respected by many for his courage, wit and humbleness in facing MND head-on. I am making a difference for Queenslanders living with Motor Neurone Disease (MND) by participating in the Walk to Defeat MND 2024. MND takes a person’s ability to move, speak, swallow and eventually breathe. All donations, big and small, are important. So, let's work together to reach my goal of $300 in honour of Matt’s memory and all the inspirational loved ones we have lost to or who are currently battling this hideous disease. Thank you 💙 Your sponsorship is crucial in helping us raise awareness and vital funds. MND Queensland is not government-funded, and many of its services to the community are funded through the generosity of people like you. You are helping to continue the provision of MND-specific support services such as occupational therapy, speech pathology, equipment, advisory support and more!
