Last Tuesday was a special day for both MND Queensland and The MND & Me Foundation, as Jane Milne CEO from the MND and
Me Foundation dropped into our office to deliver seven cough assist machines that will now join our Equipment Hire Service for Queensland’s MND community.
These cough assist machines are invaluable in assisting individuals living with MND and are always in high demand, in fact we often have a waiting list for them. These new units will help meet this demand and support Queenslanders with Motor Neurone Disease.
The cough assist machines were funded through a generous grant from Fight MND who have also kindly supported MND Queensland over the years with major grants to purchase equipment to supply to the MND community.
This is a great new collaboration between the three organsiations and means that MND Queensland has become the one central point for people with MND to access these valuable devices.
