On 6 August 2023, we will be walking to raise vital funds and increase awareness of the impacts of MND, that takes a person’s ability to move, speak, swallow and eventually breath. Recently our beloved dad was diagnosed with MND, with it being advanced in his lungs he has not been afforded the general life expectancy given after diagnosis which is usually 2.5 years. While we soak up our time with him we will join in advocating and raising awareness for this disease as so many others battle their own journey. Please sponsor me so that funds can support others impacted by this disease by providing MND specific support services such as occupational therapy, speech pathology, equipment, advisory support and more!
